2nd Day of 2nd Grade

Today we celebrated the 2nd day of 2nd grade! 

 

We counted by 2, did things twice, and made fun pencil toppers! 

First Day 2015-2016

First day of second grade was a success!!

We read this book...

And then wrote all about their new teacher

Then drank our "jitters" away by reading First Day Jitters and making our own Jitter Juice!

It was a hit! 18 children liked it and only 1 didn't. We graphed and tallied the number of students and had a (hot) great first day!

Dear Parents...

Don't forget this TUESDAY is open house/meet the teacher/supply drop off! I will be there and so will all the teachers! Please try to stop in anytime from 4:30-6:30pm.

Ready or Not

I think I'm ready!!! I still have a couple finishing touches left like adding name tags but I think it's ready for students! I just got my class list and the fun thing about moving up from a lower grade is seeing familiar faces on my list. It looks like a great class and I'm so excited to begin.

Moving In

A new classroom is like moving into a new house...a big mess 😉. 

I have started getting the classroom ready and it's been hard work but it's fun to start from scratch and get excited for new students!
