First Grade Butterfiles

This is my favorite quote about kindergartners. Each year my students make caterpillars on the first day of scho and then we make butterflies on the last day to celebrate that they are ready to fly into first grade. 

Father's Day

We love our dads and are celebrating them this year by making portraits writing a silly story and we grew them a plant. 

 

Celebrating Flag Day 2013

We have been learning about the US Flag and plan on celebrating with the entire school this Wednesday at our annual Flag Day celebration. Kindergarten is singing a song this year to the whole school! We have been learning about symbols and what the symbols of the USA are. We have also been having fun celebrating. Here is our class singing and celebrating in the classroom.

We Are getting ready for our end of the year Kinderarten Celebration Picnic. I can't believe how quickly the year went!
