A Pat On The Back

It is always fun to celebrate our success in the classroom and fun way to do this is to give the children a "pat on the back." that lasts all day long!  I think Dr. Jean was the one who I got this original idea from (Teachers: Isn't she amazing?)

Here is picture of a few kids that were super readers this past week and earned a pat on the back!

Thank you! The hands are just traced onto contact paper and cut out. Then when you need them you can write a message and peel of the back, they are like huge stickers. I use them for all types of rewards and the kids are so proud. Since they are on their backs they dont play with them and they last all day.

What a fantastic idea - I can't wait to use it!

I love Dr. Jean and miss having her come around to our area every year like she used to when she was "touring" regularly. (I guess she's entitled to enjoy semi-retirement, though!)

I loved this idea so much that I used it in one of my recent counseling lessons at school! :-) I also posted your blogspot link to my post. Please check out my blog and how I used your idea at your convenience by visiting this site:
